Top Pool  

Holding 33 pegs, this was the second pool dug here at Tunnel Barn and is well matured.  It is stocked with a variety of Carp, Bream, Tench, Perch, Barbel, Ide, Roach and Rudd.  There are a number of islands to fish to including a sunken one! The bowl area is good for big carp with the hot pegs being either 1 or 33.  The best open match weight recorded is 316lb in 2017. The depth of the pool varies from 3ft to 6ft.  There are lots of Silverfish and F1’s at 4mtrs and in the margins. Corn and Pellet tend to be the best baits. With Chub to 5lb and Carp well into double figures, this is a killer pool so make sure you have those big elastics in your poles!
